Paul L. McGinty: "At Northwest Cape we struck a pure colony of white Liguus. This form is supposed to be Liguus crenatus capensis and one of its distinguishing characteristics is an elongated shape. Ours did not run very true to form and lacked the green lines usually associated with this variety."
This lot, containing the shell designated fig. 37f in Pilsbry 1946, appears to be an elliottensis group morph from a pure population of white and unlined shells.
